Dr. Bravo finished his residency in Plastic Surgery at the Doce de Octubre University Hospital in Madrid, one of the largest University Hospitals in Europe, complementing his training together with some of the most renowned plastic surgeons in Paris, London and Rome, and obtaining a PhD in Surgery summa cum laude from the Complutense University of Madrid.
After passing all steps of the United States Medical Licensing Examination, he graduated from the prestigious Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery of the New York University Medical Center as Clinical Fellow in Plastic Surgery-Reconstructive Microsurgery. He is the youngest plastic surgeon and only European to have ever worked in such a position in the more than 50 years of history of the Institute, considered by many specialist as the world reference in plastic surgery.
After working as Faculty of the renowned Plastic and Reconstructive Department of the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam (The Netherlands), he presently combines his practice at the Ruber Clinic with his position as Program Director in Plastic Surgery of the Doce de Octubre University Hospital and as Professor in Plastic Surgery of the Complutense University Medical School.
Dr. Bravo has authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters on plastic surgery, published both nationally and internationally. He has developed new surgical techniques and has presented his work in important conferences and scientific meetings in the United States, Europe and South America, having been Faculty of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. He also participates actively in the development of new surgical technologies and is advisor to several medical corporations involved in the advancement of the specialty.
